The frontal cavity, connected by nerves to the sense organs, is the site of perception (sensus communis), fantasy (fantasia), and imagination (imaginativa); the middle cavity is the site of thought (cogitatia) and judgement (estimatia), and the posterior cavity is the site of memory (memorativa).
